'The Lost Kingdom' exhibition at Shenzhen Museum

A free exhibition of bronzewares from the ancient Dian kingdom in Southwest China’s Yunnan Province gives a glimpse into the history and culture of the area from 2,000 years ago. The exhibition runs until Sept. 18.

Edgar Plans exhibits 'Game On!' in SZ

Spanish artist Edgar Plans has brought his Little Hero character in a basketball-themed exhibition titled “Game On!” to Shenzhen. Wearing NBA jerseys, Little Hero has been transformed into Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, LeBron James and other stars in an array of colorful sculptures created by Plans. His graffiti-like paintings unleash the artists’ imagination, giving an upbeat and hopeful atmosphere.


Cultural, leisure venues closed temporarily

Due to the recent COVID-19 flare-ups in Shenzhen, some parks and sports and cultural venues in the city are closed temporarily, and those remaining open require visitors to present negative nucleic acid test results issued within 24 hours. Visitors can check their WeChat accounts for opening dates or future booking.
